That’s me on the right - how I’ve aged in the last 18 months 🫩

In very exciting and sudden news, I’m being led for the second time in my career so far - this time by a silk! To think I’ve only been a tenant for 9 months, I’m pretty chuffed ☺️

Hi @phoebebridgers in your new song Lost Boys when you sing “On a motor bike, doing 90 in a 55” can you change the lyric to “In a Honda Accord doing the speed limit” for your fans that drive Honda Accords and drive the speed limit? Thanks in advance. Much love, cait

What an utter shitshow @thetrainline - apparently I’m expected to time travel back after arriving in Newport to then get the train to Hereford. Now having to either shell out £80 for an Uber or wait until 00:53 to get the next train.

My tin doesn’t arrive for 16 weeks though, and I have a robed hearing in mid may - taking suggestions for creative ways to store it!

I’ve never really looked into Prima Facie before because I thought it might be a bit of a busman’s holiday, but I got a ticket on a whim this morning so let’s see what it’s all about!

So it turns out there’s another barrister with my surname. Bearing in mind I’ve never met another Jennett in my life, save for family. We’ve had a really fascinating discussion about lineage and trying to see if there’s a link - the bar really is a small, small world

I hate how modern left-wing politics (or so-called) is completely consumed by Israel and Gaza. The sheer amount of energy and obsession poured into it is absurd. They couldn’t care less about the conditions of the working-class in this country.
"The Greens believe that we can have diplomatic relations with Israel, and we think that is not okay." @zarahsultana breaks down the difference between Your Party and Zack Polanski's Greens. Watch the full interview, live now.

I had a wonderful time at the MTYBA dinner last night - Lord Lloyd Jones gave such a wonderful speech (as he always does, having met him a few times over the years now. His commitment to the future of the bar is unmatched), and the food and company were great

Unfortunately the only picture I took was the state of my fringe after the event, having been caught out in the storm 🤦🏻‍♀️

Taking my first proper holiday now that pupillage is over, off to Cyprus for 6 days solo, and I indulged a bit and paid for the airport lounge - totally worth it!

A student rejected by a university is not and should not be labelled “not good enough”. Ever. The sometimes blunt filter that universities apply may miss the true picture. I did not even receive an offer from two universities to study law. Am I not good enough?
Student rejected by Warwick for not being good enough. Which leftie Professor at Oxford gave this man a place based on BAME and terrible grades ?

You may admire Banksy. You may agree with his sentiment. But I am afraid that there is no way that removing an image painted on property without permission can be called censorship. That’s just a silly thing to say.
Banksy has been censored by the establishment. How they fail to see the irony in this is beyond parody.

For the benefit of all young and aspiring lawyers - this is the height of professional discourtesy. Never, and I mean never, offer advice to someone you are not instructed by behind instructed counsel’s back, no matter how publicly you do it.

I love Bridget Jones’ diary but there’s one scene that really bugs me. When Mark says he likes Bridget just the way she is Natasha says “Mark we’re making real progress on this case!” Avoiding the obvious ethical dilemma that they were discussing their case at (cont’d)

A dinner party, Natasha refers to Jeremy (another member of their chambers), seemingly implying he is also instructed. Now I can get that Mark may have been leading Natasha, but a THIRD barrister?! Also the fact Mark is minted but practices in human rights
