Iโm no โright-wing influencerโ but Iโm definitely conservative, and I agree emphatically with @conservmillen on this
I keep forgetting to just post these on here when they come out...

The @nfrealmusic community are some of the nicest on the internet! Even the comments thatโs disagree with me are respectful and kind ๐
Started a journey today! Never listened to a single @nfrealmusic song before, but what an EXCELLENT song to be introduced to his music through. Fear was inspiring and relatable from beginning to end.

Saw this at a sushi restaurant and thought it was very cool of them
Hebrews 4:12 (ESV) "For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart."
I have been doing a lot of study lately trying to shake off 12 years of rust and dust. It's not like I haven't read my Bible in all that time, but I have NOT been living up to 1 Peter 3:15 like I should.
Besides that verse, another one has really been on my heart lately. I've actually printed it out and placed it on my desk so that I can read it everyday as an encouragement to stay in God's Word and apply it to my heart and mind.
Colossians 3:16 (ESV)
"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God."
As I read through this verse, the part that gives me the most pause is where Paul wishes that they teach and admonish ONE ANOTHER in ALL WISDOM.
This is where I truly wish we could get back to in the Church. Not in "churches" but in the "Church".
The early Church was not a building. It was a movement.
It was not a weekly obligation. It was a lifestyle.
It was not a social club. It was transformative.
It was not an institution with any pomp, pretention, or traditions.
It was not a bunch of people gathering to listen to one guy's thoughts about what Jesus said.
It was a community of people committed to learning about and following Christ together under the guidance of those who walked with Jesus before them.
"We are inclined to forget the deeply spiritual and supernatural touch of God. If you are able to tell exactly where you were when you received the call of God and can explain all about it, I question whether you have truly..."

I can't even come up with words right now for what's going on in Grand Blanc, Michigan...
Just... disbelief...
It's one thing after another.
How is this the same country I grew up in?

Imagine if youโd been told a year ago that youโd be seeing headlines like this
"The rich young ruler had the controlling passion to be perfect. When he saw Jesus Christ, he wanted to be like Him. Our Lord never places anyoneโs personal holiness above everything else when He calls a disciple. Jesusโ primary consideration..."
