Now would be a good time to bring back @kbiegel’s Night Thrasher, played by @Jeremy_Tardy. Just saying.
So..using hostile, discriminatory business practices that severely underpays black artists on a black show is totally fine, but @DaveChappelle’s rhetoric is worthy of a boycott. Did I get that right??🤔🧐🥱The hypocrisy is astounding.
#DearWhitePeople showrunner @JaclynPMoore announced Wednesday she would be boycotting Netflix over Dave Chappelle’s transphobic new special.
She opened up to Variety’s @marcmalkin about why she’s taking a stand against the “dangerous” rhetoric. bit.ly/2YyhwUc
Such a blessing to see the LA premiere of VOODOO MACBETH at the legendary @ChineseTheatres in Hollywood.
Thank you to all the cast and crew. Thanks to @danceswithfilms
And thank you to all of you who have continued to support me over the years🙏🏾The best is yet to come✨
Powerful interview. “What are they doing to preserve democracy? I know what I’m doing. I know what I did… This is my country too.”

Please don’t act like everyone loved my father. He was assassinated. A 1967 poll reflected that he was one of the most hated men in America. Most hated. Many who quote him now and evoke him to deter justice today would likely hate, and may already hate, the authentic King. #MLK

This isn’t complicated or delicate. It’s not confusing or incomprehensible.
It’s America.
It’s Black and White.

Unfortunately I will not be joining NETFLIX’s Dear White People for its fourth and final season
due to my experience with Lionsgate and their practices of racial discrimination.
After being offered to return for several episodes my team was notified that our counter offer would
historically undervalued and lowballed people of color. Politically correct lip service and symbolic gestures do not absolve you of the daily responsibility of doing business in a fair and equitable manner.
