The Kerala High Court has stayed the arrest of an Additional Sessions Judge whose 17-year-old son was involved in the Cheranalloor car accident that resulted in the death of a person named Jayakrishnan. During the hearing of the judge's anticipatory bail plea, the High Court questioned the necessity of his arrest, noting that he is a judicial officer and has already cooperated with the investigation and appeared for questioning.
The court directed him to fully cooperate with the ongoing probe and present himself before the investigating officer. Emphasizing that judicial decisions cannot yield to public perception or pressure, the court stated that the detailed arguments on the bail plea will continue later.

Dear Indian brothers and sisters,
I’m wondering why do some Indian Hindus still insist it’s necessary that I go to church? So many people keep telling me this.
Have we forgotten the history? many Hindus were killed and persecuted by the church.
Missionary Christians tried to destroy and erase Sanatana Dharma in India.
Now this is where I believe many Hindus are getting it wrong:
The conversion of a Hindu to Islam or Christianity doesn’t just mean one less Hindu. It can also mean, one new enemy, because the convert himself begins to consider the Hindus as enemies
To me, Hindus can respect other religions without promoting the idea that you can remain in a church or follow Islam and still be a Hindu in the same religious sense.

I think @narendramodi govt is losing the battle of perceptions particularly on @instagram. These are the clips from the Kochi hit and run case where an Additional District Judge's 17 year old son rammed and killed 55-year-old Jayabalakrishnan, who was going home on his scooter at 2.00 AM. The scooter rider, who ran a roadside eatery, was the sole breadwinner of his family. How is a judge earning Rs 1.5 lakh a month able to own a Mercedes Benz?
