HR/VP @kajakallas is in Beirut, Lebanon, where she met with Foreign Minister @YoussefRaggi.
During their joint press conference, the HR/VP highlighted the upcoming EU Support Mission to train and advise the Lebanese Armed Forces, which will strengthen EUโLebanon security cooperation. EU Foreign Ministers are expected to formally establish the mission at the Foreign Affairs Council next Monday.
The EU has clear interest in stable, prosperous, and sovereign Lebanon.
