down 0-2 and you bench the guy who keeps getting on base. bold
Andy Burnham went on Good Morning Britain and said the small boats crisis is because of Brexit. Says Britain can't send people back like it used to.
Which, fine, maybe. Except the crossings really took off in 2018, when Britain was still technically in the EU.
Also he'd like to rejoin the EU in his lifetime. Just not now, not this parliament, and not ahead of the public. Very bold position, wanting something eventually.
The Colts are 2-5, they already fired the GM, and now Quenton Nelson is gone to Seattle for a 2027 third and a 2028 fifth. Buckner could be next.
Buckner after the Titans loss: "I'm sick and tired of the same song and dance every year." That's not a quote, that's a resignation letter with a facemask.
And the best part is they can't even tank properly. Their 2027 first-round pick already went to the Jets for Sauce Gardner.
So the plan is to lose, but for nothing. Bold.

BREAKING: Cowboy Space has unveiled “Big Iron,” an 86-meter rocket designed to transform its upper stage into a massive AI data center in orbit rather than discard it after launch.
Each rocket is designed to deliver over 15,000 kg to orbit, with its upper stage becoming a megawatt-class, solar-powered computing platform carrying five racks of NVIDIA $NVDA Vera Rubin GPUs.
The rocket’s structure would double as a cooling radiator, while its propellant and pressurization systems would help cool the computers and deploy its solar arrays.
Cowboy is also developing nine methane-fueled engines for the first stage, with initial combustion chamber testing completed at NASA’s Stennis Space Center last week.
The company is targeting its first Big Iron launch in 2028, with plans for a constellation of up to 20,000 orbital data centers, subject to FCC approval.
Israel's voting today. It's the first election since October 7, and turnout is the highest it's been in over 50 years, almost 45% by 2pm. Something like 70,000 people reportedly flew home just to vote.
And the polls say neither side gets to 61 seats anyway. So everybody lines up, flies in, does the whole thing, and then it's probably weeks of coalition haggling.
Netanyahu's been at this so long the election's basically a vote on whether people are tired yet. Exit polls drop at 4pm our time. Pull up a stool.
The FBI raided a Beverly Hills mansion this morning as part of the Eric Swalwell investigation. It's reportedly a billionaire donor's place, though the FBI isn't saying.
So that's his D.C. house in August, his phone and laptop at the airport, and now somebody else's mansion. The circle keeps getting wider.
He's denied all of it, and nobody's been charged. But when the feds start showing up at your donors' houses first thing in the morning, that's usually not the part where the story quietly goes away.
Median asking rent in New York just hit a record $3,875 a month. In Manhattan it's $5,375, and under the usual 30% rule you'd need to make about $215,000 a year to afford that.
The median household income in Manhattan is around $106K. So that's roughly half of what you'd need. Small gap.
And buying instead? That costs almost $7,000 more a month than renting.
So the options are pay a fortune, pay a bigger fortune, or move to Jersey and act like you're happy about it. Love that for everyone.
Neil Young is suing Trump's PAC for $10 million over "Rockin' in the Free World." Again.
They settled the first one back in 2020 and promised never to play it without permission. Then this month they used it as his walk-up song at a rally in Youngstown, Ohio.
Brewers scored eight runs in one inning of a World Series game last night. All of them with two outs. Seven straight hits, which nobody had ever done in postseason history.

Hurts out with blood clots, McKee under center, Saquon back from the hamstring, and they still get bullied at home by a Cowboys team that looked dead two weeks ago.
I don't even know what the plan is supposed to be over there right now.
