The #Colts first-round draft pick — which the #Jets own — continues to look better…

Trade: The #Colts are trading 3-time Pro-Bowl DT DeForest Buckner back to the #49ers, the team that made him a 2016 first-round pick before dealing him to Indianapolis in 2020, per me and @AdamSchefter. A reunion!! Now Buckner returns to SF, fortifying their defensive line.

As the Colts now have begun to trade players ahead of the NFL’s deadline, it’s worth a reminder: the New York Jets hold Indianapolis’ 2027 first-round draft pick.

This is the play I was thinking about. The game that Rodgers got hurt. Just throw it up to Garrett and let him make a play.

A frustrated Garrett Wilson has some words for Geno Smith on the @nyjets sideline as he's been a non-factor with the Jets trailing the winless Dolphins 21-14. Smith appears unmoved.

Ah yes... The winless dolphins up 14 points on the Jets right before half. Horrible.

And just like that, the @nyjets immediately answer with a TD as Geno Smith hits Mason Taylor. We are tied at 7.

Malik Willis came in to this game with 2 TD passes on the season. He just carved up the @nyjets defense to go 3-3 for 51 yards and a TD. The @dolphins have their first lead of the season.

The Colts have received strong trade interest in Quenton Nelson and DeForest Buckner, and no player is expected to be off-limits – if they decide to sell before the Nov. 10 deadline.  That and much more in the Week 7 Insider Notebook at The Sweep: tompelissero.substack.com/p/…

There is no rain in the forecast for Sunday’s Dolphins-Jets game in New Jersey, seemingly a rarity. Since 2022, it has rained for 40 percent of the Jets’ home games.

Which players could the #Jets look to sell at the trade deadline? sny.tv/articles/jets-mailbag…
