SpaceX is getting ready to attempt catching BOTH the Super Heavy booster AND Starship itself with the tower’s chopsticks. If they make this work, a lot of new possibilities open up… cheaper launches, Starlink launches, more tech and cargo reaching space, and a much more practical path to building a lasting presence on the Moon and eventually Mars. Fully rapidly reusable Starship is the holy grail of SpaceX, and Elon’s about to make this a reality.
This is going to be nuts to witness.

Elon Musk explained why Tesla needs to prioritize scaling Cybercab production.
According to Musk, upcoming efficiency improvements will allow Cybercab to use a 40kWh battery pack. Tesla also plans to offer Cybercab in Liquid Silver to provide more color variety.
Musk emphasized that talented, dedicated people are a limited resource, and there is only so much they can accomplish at once.
Maintaining Cybertruck’s complex production lines and supply chain requires engineers, factory space, equipment, and other resources that could otherwise be dedicated to scaling Cybercab.
He believes Cybercab will profoundly transform transportation on land, making it essential for Tesla to focus its resources on mass production.
For Musk, prioritizing Cybercab is about maximizing Tesla’s long-term impact on the future of transportation.
There are efficiency improvements coming that will allow for a 40kWh Cybercab pack. We will make this in liquid silver, so the colors are not too monotonous.
The biggest thing most people fail to understand is that there are a very limited number of smart, dedicated people! They can only do so many things.
If we have to maintain a complex production line, supply chain and allocate engineering for Cybertruck, we can’t use those people or factory space and machinery for scaling Cybercab, which is the vehicle that will PROFOUNDLY transform the world of terrestrial transport!

Elon said today that @Tesla plans to introduce an even more efficient Cybercab next year, despite it already being the most efficient production vehicle ever at 6.18 miles per kWh.
This updated Cybercab will feature a 40 kWh battery, 16% smaller than the current 47.6 kWh pack. This would likely push the Cybercab's curb weight below 3,000 lbs (down from 3,113 lbs currently) and, of course, lower production costs even further.
Elon said this new version will be made in a liquid silver color. Pics below of what that could look like.
No other autonomy provider can compete with this level of cost and efficiency.

It would be cool if Tesla marked the end of Cybertruck production with a special "Final Edition" of sorts, using heat treatment to give the stainless steel body a unique color.
It wouldn’t make financial sense and probably would be difficult to do, but one of the coolest, most unique, and best-driving vehicles ever made deserves a special sendoff.
