We started to regularly contribute to Drupal AI Initiative with 1 FTE effort, along with our other contributions. Thank you @getpantheon for sponsoring this work 🚀
The Drupal AI Initiative brings together dozens of Drupal agencies and companies to build AI features for Drupal in the open. Omedia contributes as part of our partnership with @getpantheon.

🩷 🎉 Omediafest 🍺🍗🌭
The official footage of Omediafest #1 failed to load.
We put the camera down on purpose and joined the party instead. 🥨

Apple doesn’t need to. They don’t mean artificial in AI 😀 Their arrogance is so pure they already branded it Apple Intelligence years ago 🤣
dude vibecoded something, which woke up serverless object infinitely, and was charged $10k by cf ))

Drupal sites can now search images by what they show.
Gemini Provider 1.1, our open-source module that connects Google Gemini to the Drupal AI module, adds image embeddings for AI Search and RAG.
Thank you to @Pantheon for sponsoring this development.

hadn't spun up a digitalocean droplet in a while. did one today and had to read the pricing page twice )))
Unfortunately, missing @DrupalConEur this year, so I caught @Dries' live session from the office instead.
He mentioned Drupal's accidental readiness for AI era (structured content, permissions, revisions, typed configuration and so on).
I'd stack one more perspective on top. When you start a Drupal project, the agent is not starting from nothing. Core and contrib are already in its context: years of clean OOP architecture, with tests and coding standards enforced by a whole community instead of one team's discipline. That is a harness around your model before you install a single skill. Consistent patterns to imitate, and a test suite that tells it when it is wrong.
Have a fantastic one, everyone who is there 🎉
we build personal dashboards and small web apps most days now. with agents its nothing, so why not?
@OmarchyLinux project showed it holds for a whole desktop. you can wear an OS tailored to you, and the only thing needed is to articulate, what you want.
next personal androids?
Time to come clean.
I read a lot fewer articles and papers directly than I did.
Instead, I bring the topic to my harness. The "harness" is simply Claude Code, running on a remote Linux VM, with layers of skills, commands and hooks on top and a custom-built web shell. That web interface is, of course, built and maintained by Claude itself, practically every day, on that same VM, as I come up with new UI and UX needs for the different things I do.
From the web interface, I talk to it for as long as it takes to sharpen the topic personally for me. I say which angles I care about and which ones I don't. It holds the memory of every other piece I've had it write and of what I've actually worked on, and I can reference them, so it writes for a reader it already knows.
I know what I give up. I get a flattened average of many authors rather than one author's judgement, but still, on majority of topics this is much more productive.
Canada and Australia offered an "associate member" tier in the EU.
Looks like Democracies grouping up in this "multi-polar world" as dictators love to say :))
The Connections daily puzzle by @NYTGames is real gym work in advancing your vocabulary, if English isn't your first language.
It forces you to find how 4 words connect, and that (finding connections and similarities) is the most effective method for memory and knowledge building.
I lose most of the time, but still enjoying every day
The rewrite we could not afford for ten years, done by a harness around Fable.
A 2016-era application on #Symfony 3.0 and #PHP 5.6 has been rebuilt on Symfony 7.4 LTS and PHP 8.5. Same Twig front-end, same URLs, same database reads. Cutover is about a week out.
It is one of Georgia's popular news sites, with millions of readers a month. Nothing about it can be taken offline for a weekend to find out how the rewrite went.
We wanted this port for ten years. It never happened, because the fair estimate was always a team for several months, and that team was always worth more on work that paid.
This time the volume of the rewrite was done by a harness around Fable, and our job was holding the constraint. The constraint was parity. A port of a live news site is only correct if readers and editors cannot tell it happened.
Two Symfony applications, the public news site and the newsroom CMS, now sit in one repository on one kernel, separated by service and routing config instead of by two diverging codebases.
The part I love most is the parity harness: a captured corpus of the live site, 150 pages, 49 API responses and 90 screenshots, diffed against the new code on every change. The port is finished when the diff is empty.
It is packaged and will run on Kubernetes, instead of the hand crafted Linux server 10 years ago.
Speed is not what I take from this. A project that sat permanently below the resourcing line is now above it. Every agency has a list of those.

Hey guys, I would appreciate some support on my new Behance project.
A share, like or anything positive would mean the world to me.
Go check it :)
