Google will cut off Search for schools that ban its AI Starting in early 2027, Google will disable Gemini, NotebookLM, Gemini in Classroom and Google Search by default on student accounts. But schools that ban Google’s AI tools won’t be able to keep Google Search either. Google says Search and AI are too deeply integrated to separate. Schools will have to enable these services themselves
