Got to know from a friend that Microsoft India has sent VEO (Voluntary Exit Offer) to employees in most of its orgs. The offer is 1 month of base salary for every year spent at Microsoft + 3 months of salary. Employees have a month to decide. I think they will do layoffs if people will not leave voluntarily.
