Incredible @MeeraSyal receiving #BAFTA. Speech inspires every “othered” individual, woman & POC. Highlighting progress of diversity but lack of it in spaces where decisions are made. “those who feel because of sex, class or race their stories don’t matter. They matter.” #BAFTAS – at Glasgow, Scotland

Last night @WomenSportTrust celebrated 10 years. A decade of collaboration with journalists, media companies, sponsors, NGBs & athletes. When we started, women’s sport achieved 3% of sporting media coverage. Today it’s 17%. Change doesn’t just happen, you have to make it happen.

Right here right now let’s claim the word “ woke” for what it is. Aware, open, considered, compassionate and forward looking…. Scary for some I know but me? I can only hope to be woke and a bit chuffed when someone says I am!!! How about you??
Replying to @anitathetweeter
A Telegraph reader told me today that the grief charity I set up a fundraiser for sounded “very woke”, because I said it offered people a safe space to discuss their bereavement. Sigh.

U.S. Open winner Emma Raducanu is a reminder to us all that immigrants can be amazing, spectacular, award-winning. But that's not a bar we should expect all immigrants to have to meet in order to have our support. My @MehdiHasanShow commentary on @MSNBC:
