Tonight was Purdue’s 17th Top 15 game since the start of 2023-24.
The Boilers are now 12-5 (.706) in such games.
58 D-I MBB teams have played 10+ Top 15 games in that same span.
Purdue is the ONLY team with a win percentage of 70% or better.
Beat the best.

Since 1978, Tampa Bay has been eliminated all 5 times it has needed help in the final week to make the postseason (1998, 2008, 2010, 2016, 2025). During that span, only the Raiders have been eliminated more times (6) when needing help in the final weekend without making the playoffs once.

NFL PLAYOFFS HISTORY:
Since the NFL went to Overtime in 1974, there has NEVER been an OT tie in the last two weeks of the regular season. The most recent with two weeks to play was in 1986 (PHI-STL 10-10 on Dec 7...week 14 of 16)...and latest calendar day was the 1982 strike shortened year (GB-BAL 20-20 on Dec 19...week 7 of 9 week season).
[Note: We came very close to week 18 OT Tie two years ago
on Jan. 9, 2022 on SNF with the Las Vegas Raiders beating the Los Angeles Chargers with 0:00 remaining in OT on a 47-yard field goal by Daniel Carlson. That game included a controversial Brandon Staley timeout late in OT when it appeared LV was likely okay playing for a tie or at least a longer FG with no time left. Both teams would make playoffs with a tie. If one team won (LV in this case), that team goes and loser (LAC) stays home and PIT makes the playoffs]
I mention this as we have a few teams that can earn a playoff berth or a division title with a tie....most notably MIAMI vs BUFFALO.
If MIA-BUF goes to OT and there is potentially a situation where MIA can "play for the tie" (i.e. take a knee vs risking something to advance ball late in 10-minute OT)...MIAMI should know that there is ZERO DIFFERENCE between a WIN and a TIE for them this week. Both outcomes get the @MiamiDolphins the division title, the #2 seed and a home Wild Card game against the #7 seed in the AFC. Just sayin'.
FWIW...a tie for @BuffaloBills gets them in the playoffs as the #6 seed playing Wild Card weekend at the #3 seed... the KC @Chiefs
