As @Booktrust and @CressidaCowell's #LifeChangingLibraries report states, one word used across all the 6 schools involved when describing their new library was "safe". We know that libraries provide children with so much more than books. They're also a sanctuary. ✨

Got to be honest I am in pieces after our mtg with Ukrainian colleagues. Lives have been lost, libraries & collections destroyed. And in the face of it all - their response is to keep kids reading, combat disinformation, provide information & safety. In short, to be #librarians
