Democratic lawmakers in the U.S. are preparing a new $15 billion military aid package for Ukraine and are also considering tightening sanctions against Russia, the *Financial Times* reports.
▪️ According to reports, there is talk of including this package in the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA)—a piece of U.S. defense legislation that must be passed by Congress before the current legislative session ends.
▪️ Furthermore, the Democrats have made supporting Ukraine’s energy sector one of their key priorities.
▪️ Among other things, lawmakers intend to increase oversight of the Starlink services used in Ukraine and revisit the controversial "Graham Act"—a piece of legislation that was repealed on the very day it was set to take effect.
▪️ Additionally, the Democrats plan to investigate the business interests of Trump’s envoys, Witkoff and Kushner.

Over the past nine days, Ukrainian Armed Forces have reportedly carried out strikes against seven oil refineries across Russia, using kamikaze drones and compact cruise missiles.
The reported attacks reflect Ukraine’s continued campaign against Russian energy infrastructure, with long-range strike systems reaching targets deep inside Russian territory.
🔥 Repeated strikes on oil refineries could disrupt fuel production, increase repair costs and place additional pressure on Russia’s energy sector.
