Details of the MoU: 🏭Green Iron and Green Steel Technology Pilot/Demonstration Project 📍Location: Gadchiroli, Maharashtra Features of this MoU: 🔸To explore the application of advanced low-carbon iron production technologies for supporting Maharashtra's green industrial development objectives. 🔸To assess the suitability of advanced low-carbon and green steel technologies for green iron and green steel production in Maharashtra. 🔸To support the development of Gadchiroli as a future Green Steel Manufacturing Hub through technology evaluation and ecosystem development. 🔸To encourage sustainable industrial growth, innovation, technology transfer, and decarbonisation initiatives within the State. 🔸To facilitate knowledge sharing, development and collaboration with relevant institutions and stakeholders in Maharashtra, supporting the development of the State as a global green steel manufacturing hub. 🔸To facilitate the export of steel.
