👉🏻 Amid opposition to the December 13 wedding in Mangaldai, the Darrang Sanatani Samaj has put forward three proposals.
👉🏻 The family must postpone the wedding until a final decision is reached, as the society says no public consensus has been reached yet.
👉🏻 The prospective groom must embrace Hinduism along with his entire family through a public religious conversion ceremony, following Arya Samaj rules at the Panbazar temple in Guwahati or another suitable public venue.
👉🏻 If the first two proposals are not accepted and the marriage proceeds as planned, individuals associated with Sanatani organisations and their events should voluntarily step down from their responsibilities and distance themselves from those activities.
