I feel like it all peaked then. I've really struggled to get into watching the playoffs this year. Trying to appreciate it for Milwaukee, but how do you top the below? You can't. Add with present downturn of the Cardinals, and I've become "meh" about baseball. That's a shame.
15 years ago, today. Still one of the best World Series games of all-time.

Sabato's Crystal Ball now has #AL2 between @repscfigures and @RhettforAlabama as a "toss up." This is according to a release sent out today, and one week before the Nov. 3 election. District was redrawn by AL Legislature in the spring to give Republicans the advantage.

Mobile City Council meeting pushed back to 11 am due to the lengthy preconference meeting in which the $14.7 million fraud is being discussed among council members.
Replying to @City_of_Mobile
@City_of_Mobile talking about the $14.7 million problem transaction during pre-conference. Hope it’s discussed at the regular session as I suspect it will. Preconference is often not available to the general public aside from a live stream. More later @aldotcom

Republican Rep. Andy Harris incorrectly told a reporter they were breaking the law as the reporter and others recorded an exchange with him last night. Harris had just wrapped up a debate with Democratic challenger Dan Schwartz.

Weird weekend of football and not in a good way. Bonehead football led to a Wash-NYGiants tie, Seattle just fumbled in the end zone right before the half - just dumb. New Orleans is a weekly penalty-error-prone mess & and let's not talk about that Alabama game.

I got 2019 NFC championship New Orleans flashbacks with the pass interference no call. That decided this game despite the postgame interviews and rah-rah nonsense. #Alabama got jobbed there during a tremendous game.

The City of Greenville is dealing with several trees down on roadways. Most major roadways are passable but we are asking everyone to not drive unless absolutely necessary today. There is still a lot of debris and hazards on most roadways.

With #Isaias well to the east of us, and with @FOX10News understandably dedicating itself to the coverage, I had to order the Iowa game on Fox One. But the only coverage here is in Spanish. So - Vamos Hawkeyes!

Power is still on in Daphne, but somehow I don't think I'll be getting the #Hawkeyes game tonight. Maybe?!? 😬

#RIP Mike Ditka A fan called Mike Ditka a baby on a call in radio show. Iron Mike responds by giving the guy his office address and telling him “You tell me what time and when and I’ll whip your ass” 😘 #DaBears
