Henderson was lovely, incredibly composed, excellent with his distribution. All his short, medium, and long range passing was very neat and tidy.
He also showed what value he could add with his saving ability. Once of the saves in the first half was spectacular. #nffc

Let me tell you something you already know, @MarcusRashford...

I don't even want to defend Maguire but the shit that gets flagged as a "Maguire fuck up" are usually wrong.
Let's not talk about:
-Elanga ball watching.
-Dalot not getting tighter.
-Pogba not filling the gap when his CB moved.
-Sancho not tracking back from the other side.

How do people expect Rashford not to react ? 🤦🏼♂️ As a club we have always stuck by our players until they weren’t ours and even then you wish them well regardless of ability. Never seen some of these players so low in confidence , sure the abuse from “fans” really helps them 👍🏻

If tonight’s performance wasn’t proof enough of how Ronaldo can’t be untouchable in Manchester United’s Xl anymore I don’t know what will be. Simply doesn’t add enough value during 90 minutes to warrant a spot over more needed profiles.

That performance deserved a better result but I think it’s time to revise what Ronaldo actually adds to this side going forward and whether that’s enough.

I've written an article for a new series, highlighting under the radar players in positions of need for United. Generally these won't be players we're currently linked with, but one's that perhaps we should be blending into our transfer strategy. muppetiers.com/united-transf…

The biggest share of ball progression at average European team belong to Centre Backs (30%). Graph shows results for PL big-6
- Bruno still contributes 10% of progression (and included into AM/FW category)
- Chelsea CB involvement is outstanding even among other back-3 systems

I miss Bruno as a free-roaming 10; the Rashford/Shaw combos; a linkup 9 who drops deep to pull CBs out & allow Bruno/Rashford/Greenwood runs in-behind; Shaw & Maguire carrying the ball past the midfield to build; & those lightening counters. You know, that time we had no tactics.

#BarcelonaEspanyol was more than just a Catalan derby — it was Xavi's first game as manager of #FCB. There were lots of encouraging signs and takeaways in the match, so I had a closer look here:
