FingerMotion (Nasdaq: FNGR) is advancing a 99 MW behind-the-meter power and compute program in Alberta — ten 9.9 MW sites across four campuses, with permitting on all ten targeted by the end of Q1 2027.

Move the demand to the molecule, instead of the molecule to the demand.
Compute sited at the resource needs no pipeline takeaway. It exports value over fiber.

'Shovel-ready' used to mean you had the land.
It now means you have the electrons.
Zoned, fiber-adjacent, water rights, motivated municipality — and a queue position — is not a project. It's a land bank with a story attached.
The first diligence question is the power pathway. Everything else is second.

New piece: the arithmetic of Western Canadian power, and why it points away from the grid.

If the grid is rationed, the answer isn't to compete harder for the ration.
It's to stop needing it.
The Missing Megawatt · Day 4

Everyone is calling it a compute shortage.
It isn't. The chips are being made. The capacity is being built.
It's an allocation problem — and that distinction decides whether your AI project ships.

Things we will never be good at, stated on day one:
— frontier-scale pretraining
— sub-millisecond global anycast
— the cheapest spot $/GPU-hour
— instant elastic burst with no commitment
If that's your workload, we're not your provider. Genuinely.

A question we keep coming back to:
If your organisation has board approval and budget for AI infrastructure right now — what's the actual blocker?
Not the theoretical one. The one on your desk this week.

This morning's thread, in one line: in BC you no longer apply for grid power for a data center — you compete for it. Capacity is capped by law and awarded like a contract. The question flips from 'how long is the queue?' to 'do we need the grid at all?'

British Columbia just made grid scarcity a matter of law.
As of Feb 1, 2026: new data center capacity is capped at 100 MW per two years — 300 MW for AI, broadly defined (10%+ of power to AI compute qualifies). Allocation is no longer first-come, first-served. It's a competitive call run by BC Hydro.
You don't apply for capacity anymore. You compete for it.

Alberta: ~20.7 GW of data center connection requests. Grid capacity available to serve them through 2028: 1,200 MW. Already allocated.
That's a 17:1 gap.
The missing megawatts aren't coming from the grid.
Thread series starts today.

$2 Million in Yield.
The numbers don't lie.
AVAX One Technology just restructured to aggressively accumulate AVAX.
The kicker?
They are anticipating $2 million in Q1 staking rewards alone. Wall Street strategy meets on-chain execution.

Prediction markets have grown 130x in the last two years to over $44 billion in trading volume. By 2030, they are estimated to produce more than $10 billion in annual revenue.
We think prediction markets should be onchain, and we believe Avalanche is the best positioned blockchain for these platforms 🔺
