On 20 June, we welcome Dr. Simon Bredl from @Unispital_USZ Department of Infectious Diseases and Hospital Epidemiology in the DQBM Special Seminar Series at @UZH_Science. This talk is hosted by
@JollerLab and open to all.
Fantastic work by Niko Rakebrandt and @nima_yassini who uncovered a memory Th1 population that can be reactivated TCR-independently enabling them to broadly modulate disease susceptibility -having a protective effect in subsequent infections while accelerating autoimmunity.
A big thanks also to everyone who contributed - our team, our collaborators, especially @LabPeters, who have been instrumental for this study, @krauthammerlab, José and co.

Happy to share our review on TIGIT, TIM-3 an LAG-3. It was great once again exchanging and working with @AnaAndersonlab and @KuchrooLab to put this together.

Back from a birthday break, so a bit delayed here: I love T cells, particularly memory ones and all they can do - also as bystanders, as the @JollerLab shows in this preprint. Big thanks to @CGerlach_lab for writing this piece with me.

Our new paper is out. In this article we showed that without the proton sensor OGR1, female mice display hypercalciuria and a more acidic urine, which culminates in higher deposition of calcium oxalate crystals in a model of secondary hyperoxaluria.
