@peacock - all I want your service for is to watch @Everton. That's all I want. Stop putting these damn games on USA - put it on your damn Premier League subscription service. Why do I keep paying for this service for my team for only 50% of the matches? #mypremierleaguemorning – at District of Columbia, USA

No sympathy with Inter Miami’s complaints over here.
All Messi (and Alba) had to do was withdraw before *the morning of the game* so MLS could name a replacement.
Instead, they denied their fellow players the opportunity - and a bonus check someone paid less might have liked.

Good for Gazdag for getting paid what he's worth.
F*$k Ernst and Sugarman for not giving a fuck about competing and just coasting. – at North Miami, FL
Dániel Gazdag's introductory press conference in Columbus was a bit of a doozy.
On the timing of the deal, Gazdag shared:
"Everything happened really fast. I found out about the Crew's interest last week—last Wednesday or Thursday. A week later, I'm here."
On his thoughts about the Columbus Crew as a franchise:
"It is a very successful franchise, especially since I’ve been in the league the last four years. They’ve won so many major titles. It makes me proud to join a club like the Crew. It makes me happy that I’m playing for a team and club that is actually playing for titles every year."
On why he feels he became available for the Crew to consider/purchase:
"That is a very good question. I think someone else should answer that question. It was an amazing four years in Philadelphia. I enjoyed it a lot, I like my teammates, I have friends there. It would have been nice to stay there the rest of my career. After I found out it was not possible, I got this offer from the Columbus Crew, and I decided that I wanted to leave and join this club to win."

Bedoya on the transfers and movements of the roster before and during the season:
"Yeah, I could give you some really good material for your articles, but I think I’ll hold off because I’m feeling emotional tonight. I don’t want to say the wrong thing. I think it’s pretty clear to many what some of the issues are, and I’ve just tried my best to keep everyone together, motivated, and confident. We went through a really bad stretch in the summer—we all saw it. The international breaks and injuries, especially losing key players, really hurt us.
But you learn from these experiences. For the younger guys coming through, these are the challenges that build resilience and perseverance, and hopefully, they can take something positive from these tough times."

The way this team is playing?
In regard to José Andrés Martínez, the Spanish feed shared the following:
"He has been in Venezuela for a short vacation after the Copa América. He went back to Orlando, as seen on his social media. They confirmed to us today that he will be available to train this coming Monday and be available for the match this coming Wednesday."

If it stays in the locker room and there's no change, keeping it in the locker room doesn't help. – at Washington, DC
Jim Curtin's thoughts on the comments that Kai Wagner gave me regarding spending and the roster this year:
Curtin:
"Kai was frustrated. Kai is a top player and has been at the club for a while. He also knows speaking publicly like that doesn’t really help anybody. So, we will have some discussions and have had some discussions with Kai.
But again, after the loss against Miami, the way we lost the game, I think everyone’s emotions are high, and yeah... I think he spoke out of turn and that stuff should stay in the locker room as you all know."
