The CFL made a tremendous accomplishment this week, signing its highest-paying media deal yet. Huge news helping make more teams reach profitability, will increase player pay. I'm really happy to see this increase in financial sustainability. Many fans are upset about the added subscription paywall for Saturday night games. This response isn't just about subscription fees, but the combination of the subscription fees with other difficult pills they've had to swallow recently. Some CFL fans are feeling increasingly taken for granted.

Getting tired of the Blue Bombers not switching their quarterback in blown out games to see what they have. Feels like a long trend with them. It's foolish way to operate. Bryce Perkins has MVP ceiling give him some meaningful reps.

A couple of great moves by the Alouettes' front office, loading up as CFL playoffs draw closer.

I'm looking forward to seeing Fajardo take on his old team again in Montreal. He's been an underappreciated player for much of his CFL career, and it's been satisfying to see him and the Elks off to such a great start this season. This should be a great game.

The UFL provides a great price point for football fans, while many are priced out of being able to attend NFL games. The price point creates the opportunity for it to be the league for the common people. Relocating 5 of the 8 franchises in 2 offseasons can come off to many that the league doesn't care about its fans who have paid money to attend. Last season saw attendance fall drastically in the 5 returning markets after the UFL abandoned 3 of its 8 markets. Abandoning over half of a league's markets in less than a calendar year sends a clear message to fans in all markets to not get too attached. I think the UFL leadership has completely overlooked the effect this has on fan trust across the board and will really hurt how many people will want to follow a team closely and spend money on it. I would anticipate this to really hurt public trust, which has already become fragile.

I'm surprised this didn't happen sooner. DJ Miller Jr established a no-fly zone for the Columbus plane team last season. For how I track coverage, he only allowed 13 receptions on 30 targets faced for 125 yards and 3 touchdowns, while generating 3 interceptions and 5 breakups.
