In all candor, I think that BYU boosters are enjoying being able to pay players while still playing by the rules. I think a lot of long-time frustration of seeing other programs cheat with under the table payments while BYU wouldn't do that is now being relieved.

I have a favor to ask all of you friends here on X!
My daughter, Rylan, who is a senior at BYU in PR/Advertising, has a capstone project on MYU’s mascot Cosmo the Cougar. (She’s put together a quick survey on your thoughts regarding Cosmo as a mascot and rep for BYU both online and in person.)
Whether you are a BYU fan or not, your feedback will prove very valuable to her project…
If you could take a quick minute to answer these questions, Rylan would forever be grateful! 🙏🏻 byu.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/fo…

Remind me again why so many say there’s just a “P2” now?
The two best matchups on a loaded Sat don’t involve any B1G/SEC teams…
Over half of the top 7 (and 50% of the top 14) teams are not B1G/SEC programs
The gap between the B1G & Big12 is razor thin this year
The P4 still co-aggregate well above the G6 but the ACC has been slipping some

Two great play calls from Kevin Young to create opportunities for Tyler Betsey, one of his best shooters.
First: Stagger - Flare
Amare Bynum has to show as Collin Chandler flies off staggered screens, which allows Kohler to set the flare to free up Betsey
Second: 77 - Flare - Exit
Double drag screens force OSU to switch as Givens chases, then Kohler immediately sets the flare with the left side empty as Pippen chases the Exit screen.

The most valuable thing you can do in the paint without the ball…widen lanes and create angles for your guys. Sealing should be a stat.
Jaxon Kohler's ability to set great screens and block out unlocks so much for @BYUMBB’s offense.
I noted at least 9 instances in the 2nd half alone where @jaxonkohler created space for his teammates to generate offense.
Blocking out isn't just a rebounding thing! 📈

I think Robert Wright III has a legitimate chance to vie for national player of the year.
He's a prolific scorer, an excellent playmaker, and he has all the keys to this BYU offense.
Already at 26 points in 26 minutes.

BYU has the 3rd best record in the nation since 2024, and they have a win over the 2nd best team on that list.
