You should listen to Podcasting Made Simple episode 407 about how to keep getting new listeners on old episodes.
Alex is also one of my favorite people in the world, and it shows with how much fun we had recording this!
One of my best friends I’ve made in the podcasting space is @JordanPods! She’s an incredible podcaster and educator in the space, but also just a lot of fun!
We just had the chance to record an episode together in person about how to make your podcast episodes keep working for you long after they’re initially published. If you’re a podcast guest or host, I encourage you to watch or listen to the latest episode of Podcasting Made Simple because it will really teach you how to keep your episodes relevant for years to come! :)
THANK YOU, Jordan, for being such a great guest! I had a blast, and I know this will be super helpful!

Does adding video to @ApplePodcasts actually help a podcast grow?
We just passed 1,000 @buzzsprout shows publishing HLS video to Apple Podcasts, so we ran the numbers.
Here’s what we found across 11,000 HLS video episodes on Apple Podcasts. ⤵
I’ll be speaking at @ Podcast Movement 2026 in New York City!

Thank you, @JordanPods (and @buzzsprout), for mentioning PodMatch in this write-up about getting booked as a podcast guest. It's a really great post... Super helpful. Thank you!! :)

This data surprised me.
According to The Creators 2025, nearly twice as many men as women create podcasts
As a woman in podcasting, this hasn’t felt like my experience. Which feels weird to say...but it feels like a good thing!

Taking time to brag about how spectacular my listeners are!
They support the show every single day with engagement. In fact, they are in the top 1% of all Spotify’s listeners for sharing, and commenting, and marathoning my podcast.
THIS feels like a successful podcast to me.
It's been less than 24 hours since @taylorswift13's podcasting debut.
Around the 1:20 mark, she talks about how people can drain your energy and drive if you let them.
This advice is gold for podcasters like me that give strangers on the internet far too much attention. (🧵)
4. Let your work speak for you.
"My business is is making music and taking care of my fans...And everything else I'm just sort of like, it's not my business."
You don't need to justify your content to those who aren't fans.
My biggest takeaway as a content creator from @taylorswift13's appearance on @newheightshow is focus your energy on creative output and fan engagement, anything outside of that is irrelevant to you. 🔥
