These results were only possible because outstanding candidates stepped forward in every region of the country — including in areas once considered long shots. They came from different backgrounds and represented a range of political perspectives, but were united by shared values, a belief in public service, and a commitment to putting the people of their districts and states first.
We also owe a debt of gratitude to the thousands of election officials and volunteers from both parties who helped ensure a smooth election and carried out one of the most essential functions of our democracy.
While this administration has another two years in office, our job now is to roll up our sleeves, make changes wherever we have the power to do so, prevent further damage, and lay the groundwork for the future.

Comme je connais des élus compétents, parfois je me dis que je pourrais aider le PS.
Et puis il y a ces grands arbitrages délirants où ils taxent les données en ligne, ou donnent une année de repos aux personnes de 62 ans plutôt que de prioriser l'avenir.

Il faut développer des filières professionnalisantes et renforcer la sélection à l'université, si possible par un examen d'entrée, pour qu'elle devienne autre chose que la voiture-balai des classes préparatoires. Mais le ministre qui proposerait un tel programme serait remercié dans les 24h, par peur d'une émeute. Alors, on continue de creuser...

The Islamic Republic of Iran is a terrorist regime, regardless of where its missiles are aimed.
Shame on those who claim to champion Palestinian rights while supporting a regime that slaughters Syrian children and terrorizes Arab countries.
Iran’s missiles are directed at Saudi Arabia (and other Arab countries), but some voices (including Hamas and their supporters) come along demanding Arabs join forces with Iran and go to war against Israel.
In other words, they want Arab countries to turn their missiles against Israel while Iran turns its missiles against Arab countries.
