I was so sad when a Colleague. A Medical Doctor practicing in Nigeria reached out to me some days ago. He needed Help paying the school fees of his Son that just gained admission into the University. The fee was about 600k. In a government owned University. This is a Medical Doctor. A Consultant, finding it difficult to pay school fees in Nigeria of Today. One of the professions we look up to as a kid. One of the profession we believed if we become we have made it through to being comfortable in life. I was just so messed up after the conversation. I asked about his welfare and all. He was like, “Motor ti g’ori odo. Even if it doesn’t, where will I get money for fuel?!” If a Consultant can’t train 2 children in the university comfortably, then what happens to the Adhoc staffs in the hospital? They should just forget about education for their children.? Nigerians, we all should be angry, come together and say. “Enough is Enough!” Let’s get rid of Tinubu before he gets rid of our Future. Vote Peter Obi. We need someone that can manage our resources.
