Can you bring shoot to loot back to lotus eater? Many endgame players missed out on this and it’s a gun that’s super useful
My frustrations with the Codex app forced me to finally give @theo's @t3dotcodes a real try, and there are so many things that are really good about it and so many things that are very puzzling about it. Will keep using it for a bit to see which I side I can overcome.

Don't know if you saw, but I figured out how to use the original offline decryption implementation to patch an IPA from ipatool to work on macOS by modifying sinf data: github.com/joshrad-dev/macOS…
If you don't have a credential for your Apple ID it'd be useless anyway since you need the same Apple ID on your mac

It's really making me sad that all the issues with the desktop app are beginning to overshadow everything good about it. @reach_vb @OpenAIDevs

As a day one Codex Desktop user, I'm getting more and more frustrated by regressions in the ChatGPT desktop app, and I'm posting this as a plea to fix these papercuts that have been open for so long.

Was just thinking this the other day. Especially for stuff that might be impossible to distribute, like a lot of game mods/recomps, it’s almost easier to just distribute a well written prompt
8. Startup time is getting really bad. Takes multiple seconds to load even my recent chats and multiple seconds before I'm able to send a chat.
I'll probably think of more after posting these but these have been frustrating me for a while.
6. Creating a project with "codex app" puts it at the bottom of the projects list for some reason.
7. Related: No way to sort sidebar by projects most recently messaged. I still want my chats organized by project, but with the most recent project on top.
5. This issue I opened has also been open for months (5 months this time), and makes the Codex app unusable for continuing chats across providers. Up to you if this is a Desktop bug, app server bug, or working as intended. Either way, no comms on this: https://github[.]com/openai/codex/issues/24648
4. No way to have multiple accounts or workspaces logged in with the ability to switch between them. Web and iOS have it, why not Codex desktop?
3. ChatGPT Desktop app connecting to background daemon has been broken for months. Encountered this bug today, realized it's been an open issue for months: github[.]com/openai/codex/issues/41014
Results in this any time you try to switch from TUI to app. Have to kill daemon to fix.
2. Code review in the desktop app no longer lets you choose what you're comparing against. In the TUI you still can, but in the desktop app it's only against base branch. For some reason, this bug doesn't exist for new chats? (Notice the arrow leading to options)
1. This number used to show uncommited changes, now it shows changes relative to a base branch with no way to change it. Also, there used to be a commit button here, now it's multiple buttons deep. Same for opening the project in VSCode, it's multiple buttons deep for some reason.

I was doing something similar, recreating this in MyGo. Is yours gonna be open source? github.com/team-reflect/refl…

Turns out you can use @ethanarbuckIe's research to modify sinf data for running iOS apps on Mac again! Didn't know when I saved App Store IPAs from 2021 that they'd be useful today 😆
Thanks to @roothideDev for FairFree.
