We’re grateful to NYSID Member Agency, @SpecDesigns, for welcoming NYSID, elected officials, and community leaders to their facility as we came together to advocate for the future of New York State’s Preferred Source Program.
The Preferred Source Program helps create meaningful employment opportunities and competitive wages for New Yorkers with disabilities—opening doors to greater independence, growth, and opportunity.
And New Yorkers believe in its future, too. A recent poll found that 85% of surveyed New York voters believe expanding the program should be a priority for state lawmakers.
Thank you to Spectrum Designs for bringing our community together and for continuing to champion the power of inclusive employment. We’re proud to stand alongside our Member Agencies, partners, and advocates as we work to build an even stronger future for New Yorkers with disabilities.
