- Yes, you should submit an ETH address. If you don't want to, you may lose your allocation. More information on the launch chain to come.
- Yes, you can use the same ETH address for all of your JOY across different wallets.
- The snapshot was taken before we took over as the team. We cannot help you with your current JOY allocation.
- We have taken over the treasury (only 3% allocation). This will be used for presale to raise for LP and marketing.
- You have ample time to submit your ETH address. This will be the last thing we close. Please tell your friends to submit their wallets to reserve their allocation.
- The team is now focused on branding, marketing assets, and the contract.

A quick update on $JOY:
When this project originally came to life back in May 2025, it was born from the excitement of the Spark protocol being built on Bitcoin.
The launch of Spark (more specifically Flashnet) was delayed multiple times and eventually launched in August 2025. This was the first of many re-launches. Momentum slowly died (especially for memecoins), and by the time of the final launch in December 2025, volume had completely dried up. After that, our investors pulled out and launching no longer made sense.
There was an August 2025 Bitcoin assets snapshot and a December 2025 UNITY inscription snapshot. The current allocation is a combination of these two.
I’ve been sitting on this snapshot for more than half a year, with multiple people approaching me wanting to do something with it. I’ve been very reluctant to let just anyone take it and run.
Until now.
Last week I was approached by a notable community (they wished to remain anon). They were interested in taking the JOY snapshot and bringing it to life. After multiple phone calls and carefully vetting their intentions, I felt good about it.
My only ask was that they honor the wallet snapshot and original allocation - this was always meant to onboard those holding Bitcoin assets.
As of now, the new team has received access to the X account and is starting to build in the background. I don’t have any further information to share at this time, but I’m confident they’ll start posting updates on @JoyOnSpark when they’re ready.
For now, I highly suggest everyone submit their EVM wallets to make sure their allocation is secured.

We face a dilemma for the launch of $JOY.
During preparations for the token launch, both the Spark memecoin market and the broader crypto market turned bearish. The best decision at the time was to delay the launch to avoid releasing a token with little chance of success.
Mainly due to market conditions, the investors who planned to provide the liquidity pool have paused this initiative until the market shows signs of recovery.
With no turnaround in sight in the near future, we must decide on the next steps for the token.
A) Launch the token without a liquidity pool. Buyers and sellers would trade in fragments (similar to BRC-20). This defeats the purpose of Flashnet's capabilities.
B) Wait for the market to recover and regain investor confidence to secure the liquidity pool.
The snapshot has been taken, and everyone's allocation is saved and unchanged. This will remain the same.
We will open this for discussion in the comments, with a vote planned in the coming weeks.
Quick Update:
We continue to monitor market conditions and the Spark ecosystem closely. We are in active discussions with our partners and the Spark/Flashnet team. While things are slow right now, Flashnet has big plans focused on Spark's sustained growth.
We believe the upcoming news and features from Flashnet will expand the ecosystem and attract more attention to the protocol. We remain committed to launching $JOY when the timing is right, rather than rushing it.
After careful deliberation with our partners, we've decided to launch $JOY in the new year.
The goal was to spread $JOY over the holiday season, but with the current state of BTKN tokens, launching any sooner would only risk harming our holders.
@flashnet has announced that they'll be prioritizing rewards, improved tooling, and stronger partner support starting in the new year. We're intentionally aligning the $JOY launch with these upgrades to ensure maximum scalability and a flawless experience for the community.
