I feel lucky to be Israeli.
Out of 14m Palestinians in the Middle East, Arab Israelis are the *only* ones that get a vote.
Palestinians in West Bank haven't voted since 2006, stuck under a 90 year old dictator.
Lebanese Palestinians don't even get the citizenship.
Jordanian Palestinians have a.........king.
You may not like this, but the best thing to happen to Palestinians is to live inside Israel.
Eat your heart out.
Wonder what the clown, @nasdaily is feeling right now after Zionists have shed their mask about what they actually feel about "Arab Israelis" 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

I want you all to know this.
There are 650 MPs in Parliament. Yet the one MP chosen by @UKLabour to Chair the Bill Committee for the controversial, dangerous and dismally bad draft legislation, the Conversion Practices Bill, is Alex Barros-Curtis. Until July 2024, when Alex was given a very safe Labour seat in Cardiff, he was the Head of the Labour Party's Governance and Legal Unit in London. This was a department set up to investigate complaints against members of the Labour Party. Complaints of antisemitism, Islamophobia, abuse, and of course latterly, mostly women holding legally-protected 'Gender Critical' (sex realist) beliefs. Alex oversaw the investigation of hundreds of members who liked or tweeted gender critical or feminist views. I was one of them. He investigated me, as a sitting Labour MP, for 13 months.
13 months to 'investigate' one like of one tweet. I had a great lawyer, one of the names we're all now familiar with, and I had to crowdfund to pay for his (excellent) work.
They first tried in 2020. But the screenshots crudely attached to that passive aggressive, threatening-sounding email from LP admin staff were so risible that I replied that it was too ridiculous for me to waste my precious time on. They left it. Years of Starmer bumbling and stuttering through interviews about whether he had spoken to me, whether he supported me, etc followed. My feminist sins continued apace.
And then I 'liked' a tweet by my GC comedian friend @Glinner. He had mocked Eddie'Suzy' for comparing his choice to wear traditional women's clothing, fake plastic breasts and nails, to those being persecuted by the Nazis during WWII. I found his sarcasm, as a award-winning comedy writer in the face of such offensive narcissism amusing and so 'liked' it. I found it absurd and obscene that Izzard, an extremely privileged and wealthy man, who openly changed his 'gender' at will, should write himself into history falseley as someone who would have been oppressed due to a circumstance beyond his control. We all know the groups who were tortured, starved and killed...
There is obviously more to my story, I will tell it all, it's just one chapter of the years of spiteful abusive and bullying practices meted out to me by the Labour Party managers. Not those who'd achieved office on merit, or even unexpectedly, but those in the club, often having failed to be elected themselves.
So Barros-Curtis who we were repeatedly told led 'the many *independent* inquiries into women members and MPs like me, now often stands as a trans-rights activist on the Labour backbenches. He has also been gifted the role of Chair of this Committee and is a huge supporter of this Bill. And I am not a part of the Bill Committee, although plenty of TRA MPs are. Does that sound like the democratic scrutiny of legislation to you?

The “Zionism is settler colonialism” claim rests on early Zionists using the word “colony.”
In the 1880s–1910s, that word simply meant a new agricultural settlement. The Jewish Colonization Association used the same term for farms in Argentina.
There was no metropole and no resource extraction for an empire. Just Jews buying land and building self-governing communities in their ancestral homeland.

I was just in Israel with @Mr_Andrew_Fox - part of a larger group of journalists and think tank people hosted by the Israel Press Club.
We spoke to many high ranking people, some on the record, many off.
Almost all spoke about Britain with warmth as a great country but also spoke as an increasingly hostile state.
They all described how our government is blowing up our relationship with Israel for internal political reasons. And because of a moral blindness.
They recognise that moral blindness. They once tried to appease Islamism, ignore the rhetoric of hatred.
The consensus thought in Israel was one of appeasement - let Hamas have the Qatari millions, trust that when they say they want to destroy Israel they aren’t really mad enough to attempt it.
That blew up in their faces on October 7 and they see our country as foolish for not learning that lesson.
And, as Andrew points out, the violence is already here in the UK too. It’s just over a year since the terrorist attack at Heaton Park killed two people. We’ve had stabbings, ambulances and synagogues set on fire.
We have had multiple cases of people either in prison or going through the court system for attempted terrorist attacks on my tiny community.
The hatred was uncorked on October 7 2023 when people in our country were in the streets celebrating the murder of Jews and the establishment, the DEI departments, the feminist groups, seemed unable to condemn any of it. There has been no let up since.
It unleashed this centuries old hatred and it’s been fed by an obsession which means Israel has been discussed in the Commons more than the NHS while BBC Verify has done more ‘investigations’ into Israel than all the UK stories put together.
The obsession, the skewed narrative in which Hamas is almost always missing is dangerous. And they know it is.
The response has simply been defence. Higher walls around our schools and synagogues. We don’t want higher walls. We want our government to stop appeasing the beast. We want the demonisation of Jews in the guise of Zionists to stop.
And if they aren’t doing it for us, they should do it for everyone else.
Because we are just the first in line.
A week of Jewish hospitality in Israel has left me ashamed of the welcome Britain offers its own Jews. My latest essay is a love letter to people who should never have to wonder whether they belong in the country they call home.

On a brief trip to Jerusalem yesterday, I managed to get something I’ve long coveted. It’s an ancient Judean coin turned into a necklace.
It’s an incredible 2000 years old bronze prutot from the time of the Emperor Claudius - celebrating the birth of the emperor’s son Britannicus. The Roman province was being by administered by Antonius Felix (52-59 CE). It was just a few years since Jesus had been killed and the early Christians were still seen as a Jewish sect and going to the Temple in Jerusalem.
It was a Jewish state and had been for more than 500 years.
Just a few years later, after a rebellion, the Romans sacked Jerusalem and expelled the Judeans: the Jews. Some were taken as slaves, others fled. A few stayed, impoverished, treated badly and often even refused permission to go to the Western wall, all that remained of the great temple.
The descendants of those who fled ended up in all corners of the world but the desire to return always remained a central hope: particularly as in almost every land Jews were reminded they were outsiders, foreigners, not wanted, at best treated as second class citizens, at worse, ethnic cleansing and genocide.
So when ignorant people say Jews took someone else’s homeland I ask them to think about this history.
When the Zionists returned to their brethren in what is now the state of Israel, they joined Jews who had been there for centuries.
There has always been room to share: just this week the world has been forced to see that there is a very politically active Arab minority living in Israel who took part in the vote for the only democracy in the Middle East.
And I would ask these antizionists who hate us so, who deny this is our homeland too, where would you like the Jews to go?

Last night, the exit polls told one story: Netanyahu had lost, but it wasn’t clear who on the other side had won. This morning, the results are telling another. Netanyahu hasn’t won yet, but the change bloc has clearly lost.
I’ve covered politics since the start of the century. I have never seen a camp organize for an election as impeccably, as efficiently and as energetically as the change bloc did. It signed model surplus-vote agreements, so that no leftover votes would go to waste, and ran an unprecedented operation flying Israelis home from abroad to vote. And by the actual count, it ended up with more or less the same number of seats as in the last election.
Demography beat energy, and the message also proved flawed and unsuccessful. The public wasn’t convinced that the war had been a total victory, as Netanyahu claimed, but it also refused to buy the opposition’s claim that it was a total failure. It was repelled by Haredi draft-dodging, but didn’t think the solution was a minority government propped up by draft refusers and anti-Zionists. It was disgusted when ultra-Orthodox protesters chanted “We do not believe in the rule of the Zionists,” but it was just as shocked when “Biladi, Biladi,” the Palestinian national anthem, was sung at the Joint List’s headquarters last night.
Netanyahu’s position changed completely between the release of the exit polls and the arrival of the real results. Last night it seemed clear that Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana, a Likud loyalist, would be ousted and that, one way or another, Gadi Eisenkot, the former IDF chief of staff, would form a minority government. Now, by the criteria Eisenkot himself set, he has lost the legitimacy to form such a government. He promised he wouldn’t rely on the Arab parties’ votes, yet without a majority he would now need the active support of the Joint List, which looks futile and pointless. In post-October 7 Israel, there is no chance that a coalition including six candidates who lost immediate family to Hamas could last long alongside Joint List lawmakers who claim Hamas is simply a charitable organization.
After the 1967 war, Defense Minister Moshe Dayan famously said Israel was waiting for the Arabs to call. In the same spirit, Netanyahu in effect told the change camp before dawn: here’s my phone number, feel free to use it. Yisrael Beiteinu’s Avigdor Lieberman, former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and Eisenkot now face a dilemma from hell. They can go to another election, one that Israelis abroad will no longer fly home for. They can try to join Netanyahu’s bloc on tough terms, breaking their campaign pledges never to sit with him. Or they can beg the Islamist Ra’am and the Joint List, now drunk on their success, for support.
And one final note: for the entire campaign, we searched for a third bloc, a centrist unity bloc between Netanyahu and his rivals. Candidates included Benny Gantz and former UN Ambassador Gilad Erdan, former general Ofer Winter and economist Yaron Zelekha, former Culture Minister Hili Tropper and who even remembers who else. They all collapsed, evaporated or vanished. And now it turns out the unity bloc may have been the Arab parties all along. Their historic, almost hysterical turnout, at rates that will need careful examination, shattered both sides’ dreams of a 61-seat majority. It reminded Jews on both sides that, after years of division, they may have to learn to sit together after all.

31 years before the modern State of Israel and months before even Balfour, The Sun reported “Terror in Palestine”: 300 Jews deported from Jerusalem, 8,000 Jaffa Jews evicted with houses looted, two Yemeni Jews hanged at the entrance to Tel Aviv.
Ottoman governor Jamal Pasha ordered the mass expulsion of the Jews of Jaffa and Tel Aviv. Thousands were expelled with little or nothing. Many died from exposure, disease, and starvation. Properties were looted. Witnesses described hangings and bodies left in the dunes.
There was no “occupation,” no “settlements,” no Netanyahu, not even a State of Israel. Still, Jews in the Land were driven from their homes and killed.
So what's the conflict really about?

The Vatican received its first detailed internal report on the systematic massacre of Jews in Europe in the “Holocaust by Bullets.”
Monsignor Giuseppe Burzio, the Holy See’s chargé d’affaires in Nazi-allied Slovakia, wrote Cardinal Secretary of State Luigi Maglione based on accounts from Slovak military chaplains returning from the Eastern Front.
Jewish prisoners of war were shot on the spot. Jewish civilians, including men, women, and children of every age, were being rounded up and systematically “suppressed” (massacred).
The Vatican’s immediate reaction was not public alarm or urgent intervention. Diplomats asked Burzio to clarify whether the killers were Slovaks or Germans. His confirmation that SS units were carrying out the shootings on German orders arrived months later.
By March 1942, Burzio was warning that the planned deportation of 80,000 Slovak Jews to German-controlled territory amounted to “condemning the greater part of them to their deaths.”
The information was there, but it was kept quiet.

The Shaw Commission arrived in Jerusalem to investigate Arab massacres of Jews across Mandate Palestine. This was two decades before Israel’s independence.
Arabs had killed 133 Jews brutally with axes, knives, and clubs in places like Jerusalem, Hebron, and Safed. Homes were looted, synagogues were destroyed, and survivors were raped and mutilated.
The massacres were ongoing. There were another 57 Arab attacks against Jews as the Commission sat. The Grand Mufti later invoked the Protocols of the Elders of Zion and compared himself to Jesus, claiming Jews had denounced him.
The Commission found the Arab attacks on Jews were driven by hostility to Jews in general and the notion of Jewish sovereignty anywhere in the Land.
This was the conclusion before there were any “settlements,” “occupation,” or even a State of Israel.

Harvard’s “Jewish problem” is nothing new.
This day, the university held a mock trial of Adolf Hitler. All testimony about Nazi persecution of Jews was ruled irrelevant, and a panel of Harvard professors acquitted him on two of four charges.
The very same Harvard warmly welcomed Hitler’s foreign press chief and personal associate, Ernst “Putzi” Hanfstaengl, only months earlier. The Harvard Crimson had argued he deserved “the marks of honor appropriate to his high position in the government of a friendly country.”
Harvard maintained ties with Nazified German universities, hosted Nazi officials and naval officers, and limited Jewish enrollment. Events in 2023 and 2024 proved the legacy endured, as Harvard became a national symbol of campus antisemitism after October 7.

The NEU just fakes concern for Jews: its own training fails them. And snidely frames addressing such failures as taking from everyone else. Apparently, including Jews is special treatment; leaving us out is equality. 🙄
They & the Left are just dishonest, vile hypocrites.

The NEU's Bell response also boasts of impartiality. Yet their teachers are pushing politics in school, and a Jewish teacher blocked from challenging why an NEU session "specifically" about antisemitism was instead about Israel.

The irony is brutal. Their linked Runnymede report actually warns anti-Zionism can disguise far-left antisemitism, and branding Zionism racist while dismissing AS reinforces it.
Clearly nobody at the NEU checked what they endorsed. So much for teaching standards. 🙄
