People think once you pay cash for a 100 foot yacht, you can just pull up and park it wherever you see open water.
In reality, pulling into a prime slip in Miami, Monaco, or St. Barths during peak season can run $3,000 to $5,000 every single night just to tie your ropes to the concrete.
Then you have to pay extra just to plug into shore power so the air conditioning does not shut off and bake the interior while you sit at dinner.
