For me, it’s Celeste.
Maybe the only game I can think of that is legitimately just perfect.
If we all had to agree on an objective “best” game of all time, what would you say? Trying to put your own favourite games aside, which game is THE game of all time?
For example, I think it’s Minecraft. It’s definitely not my favourite game of all time but I can recognize it’s timeless, a household name, influential, just a very iconic and important game.
Other games in the conversation IMO are Ocarina of Time, Pokémon, COD, GTA, Fortnite, Super Mario Bros, Skyrim, (maybe even Elden Ring??)

You may have seen a recent article that mentions KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS, speculating on the reasons for the change in publishing partners for PHYSINT.
Normally, we would not comment on unsubstantiated speculation on the internet, but these aspersions around our relationship with PlayStation, the commercial performance of the DEATH STRANDING franchise, and the broader production planning and investment for PHYSINT, have reached beyond the studio and have touched our fans, our creative partners, and colleagues we have worked alongside with for three decades.
None of the claims written came from any official or on-the-record source and as such we encourage you to take them with a dose of scepticism.
Make no mistake, this was a serious situation for the studio with a range of potentially significant implications. While we recognise that the article may have caused alarm, we want to reassure you all, for the record: that the studio is in a healthy, profitable state, development for PHYSINT continues to move forward with XBOX, and our relationship with PlayStation remains strong.

Maybe I was in a weird mood when I played it, but Super Metroid is my least favorite of the 2D entries I’ve played. Although, I’ve only played Zero Mission and Fusion, otherwise.
Maybe a replay is in order.
It is impossible for a big game to get a 99 on Metacritic today.
There are way too many outlets that count now. And you’re always going to have a wide array of opinions, along with a few detractors trying to be different for clicks.
Now that a couple days time has passed, I think this art direction is phenomenal.
Ocarina of Time Remake literally looks like a fairy tale come to life. It’s perfect.
