In 2014: He cried like crazy after winning the Ballon d’Or again after 5 years. In 2015: When Messi won again, he said the Golden Boot is better than the Ballon d’Or because it depended on goals, not “votes”. In 2017: Ronaldo won his 5th Ballon d’Or and said it was “just the beginning,” and that he wanted to have the most Ballon d’Ors in football history. In 2024: After Messi won his 8th Ballon d’Or, Ronaldo questioned the credibility of these awards. Now in 2026: He wins a paid, fan-voted BOAT award, and suddenly the credibility of awards is back. 😭😭 Cristiano Ronaldo is the definition of hypocrisy and losing mentality.

When the current Ballon d’Or winner faced a player who was on the verge of retirement at the last World Cup. Messi is unbelievable. 🐐

The concept of Jude Bellingham finishing 11th in Ballon d’Or ranking after a great World Cup and Lionel Messi finishing in top 10 and potentially make top 5 because of the ‘World Cup’ is hilarious.

What case does Mbappé have to win this award, genuinely? If it’s numbers, Kane is ahead, and if it’s trophies, Lamine is ahead. Kane knocked him out of the UCL and Lamine beat him to the league AND World Cup too. Can’t believe this is even a thing

I genuinely don't care if Hansi Flick wins the Champions League or not. The excitement before every Barca game, the chemistry within this team, the mentality they've shown in every match you've given me so much to enjoy. I'll forever stand by you, gaffer.

Yo insisto, Flick tiene que ser para el Barça lo que Guardiola fue para el City, nos merecemos un entrenador por una vez en la historia que de verdad dure muchos años hasta que simplemente no pueda más y él decida irse

What is Bellingham actually good at ? I genuinely want to know because we can’t find in top 10 assist makers in Europe’s top 5 leagues He has more big chances missed than big chances created . He can’t control the midfield. He can’t lay a simple pass. Can’t take a set piece

Barcelona have a chance to repeat the Iñigo Martínez scenario all over again. Lisandro Martínez reportedly doesn’t want to renew his contract with Manchester United and has decided to leave England, with Spain being his preferred destination. He’s a very intelligent left footed defender, excellent on the ball and well suited to Flick’s style. Most importantly, he’s left footed, and he could be available on a free transfer. So why not repeat the Iñigo Martínez move? And the best part is that Lisandro is much younger, at just 28 years old, right in his prime.

It’s very close for both. Barca gave him absolutely nothing to work with post 2016 and Argentina gave him Maradona in his physical peak in a WC he should have easily tore through.
