Let me tell you something. During my teacher training at a government school in Delhi, I once walked into an unattended Class 9 classroom. It was an all-boys section with around 60 students. I asked them about their dreams and what they wanted to become when they grew up.
One student stood up and said, "Madam ji, mujhe Ranbir Kapoor ki Animal movie jaisa gunda banna hai." Nearly 90% of the other students (and I'm not exaggerating this number) cheered him on and joined in, saying, "Yes, ma'am, we want to be one too." Yes, that was their DREAM.
That day, I realised just how deeply young, impressionable minds can be influenced by the glorification of violence in movies and television shows.

A man named Hemanth walked into a school in Raptadu, Andhra Pradesh, carrying a chainsaw. No one inside could have imagined the nightmare about to unfold.
He entered a classroom and attacked a student named Gopika with brutal force. In that frozen moment of terror, one girl refused to freeze. Lakshmi, Gopika’s friend, stepped forward and threw herself between her friend and the attacker.
She was badly injured in the struggle. She could have run. She could have saved herself. Instead, she chose her friend.
Both girls are now in hospital, fighting separate battles. Gopika has undergone major surgeries. Lakshmi is being treated for her own wounds.
We pray for their recovery.
