Here's how things work. Migrants are being sent here , by law, NYC has to provide shelter due to the right to shelter law. If not, the city will get sued ( and it has ) due to that the city has no choice but to comply with that law. For a while, the city was able to keep migrants out of residential areas, but unfortunately, the city has run out of space and was left with no choice but to rent out location close to residents. At the end of the day, city officials have a job to do. ( even if they don't like it ) it's still a job. Now, who's sending the migrants over the USA ? organization that is being funded by the federal government . I have spoken with multiple city officials about this, and they look like they want to pull their hair out of their head . I try to be very fair and honest with people, even if they don't like the message I'm giving them . My job is to find out what's true or not . If anyone has any ideas please let me know.
