Replying to @DaveUmahi
@DaveUmahi and COREN should mandate that interns and young engineers be employed on this project, this is a "one in a century" project (hopefully not).
Having this kind of experience would be life changing.
Construction is advancing on Section 4 of the Lagos–Calabar Coastal Highway (Ogun and Ondo corridor), with site clearing, sand filling, reinforcement ongoing and the alignment gradually taking shape towards the ondo axis.

One of the sections where the Lagos–Calabar Coastal Highway runs remarkably close to the Atlantic coastline
Massive ocean wave barriers are being installed here to help protect this ambitious highway against the powerful force of the ocean.

I was part of the team doing a EIA survey of the LCCH. My team was to survey section 2 of the highway. The road correctly has reached Ode-Omi with clean pavements. All the need is to connect the road around Dangote refinery. And subsequently continue the other part to Eba onward.
I got several tags to this video, so here’s my take! Let me know your thoughts in the comments.
Want to see the full update on Section 4 in Ogun State? I’ve just uploaded a new video. Go check it out!

Rising along Section 1 of the Lagos–Calabar Coastal Highway is the Orchid Interchange at Kilometer 13.
With its impressive engineering design, rising structures, and massive MSE retaining walls, this is one of the most fascinating sights on the project so far.

VERYDARKMAN HAS SHOWN THE COMPLETE PROJECT TO SHUT THOSE CRITICIZING HIM UP
Those who criticised VDM really believed he used 50 million naira for murals. Well, the whole project cost over 250 million naira.
Here is how it goes:
We built 4 solid structures from scratch and a fence covering over 3.4 hectares of land. Over 18,000 blocks were used for the fence alone, at 850 to 900 naira each, without counting cement, sand, stones and workmanship. The fence was plastered too.
The project also has a well equipped clinic, admin block, SS1 to SS3 block, JSS1 to JSS3 block, solar street lights, fans in all classrooms and the clinic, and toilets. Check the roofing, the ceiling and the doors.
The walls have 6 murals. 4 have Burna Boy and the kids, and 2 have Burna Boy, VDM and Winnie. The walls are trademarked so the government cannot claim the project when they are campaigning.
The commissioning is tomorrow, with a comprehensive breakdown of what was spent. A statue for Burna Boy will be built there.
