According to World Bank's latest report, India's extreme poverty has fallen from 27.6% to just under 2.6%.
And for Indians living under Rs. 400 a day (lower middle income), it has come down from 57.7% of the population to 16.1%.
Remarkable achievement by India given the rupee depreciated and the inflationary pressure of a fast growing economy.

Toolkit lied that Indian Economy is Collapsing.
Now World Bank Admits that in India, extreme poverty (below $3 per day income) has come down to 2.5% from 27% in 2011, while 49.6 crore people were brought out of Poverty.
PM @narendramodi made it happen

According to latest World Bank report, India's inequality has registered the sharpest decline in the last 5 years in history. It was already declining faster in the previous 5 years.
A Gini index of 23.5 in 2026 makes India one of the low inequality countries in the world. That's the gap between rich and poor in consumption.
For example, China's inequality is 36, United States 42, Most G7 and G20 countries are in the 40s to 50s.

History of self is important to natives.
Those who consider themselves foreign will naturally look outside for validation.

To Bloomberg, with love from India.
I plotted India's trade in finished phones. In 2014, we imported $7.43B and exported $0.56B. In 2025, imports were down to $0.66B while exports reached $30.15B.
Finished-phone imports fell about 91%. We now make phones here for Indian buyers and sell them overseas. That is a substantial change in where the manufacturing happens.
Bloomberg says taxpayers are "probably" paying over $1 in subsidies for every additional dollar going to workers. Where is the calculation? And even if that ratio holds, why should additional wages be the whole test of what India gained?

Mobile PLI stats as follows:
Government incentive paid: Rs 19,000 Cr.
Direct tax collected: Rs 25,000 Cr.

Electronics manufacturing employs 25 Lakh people; mobile manufacturing alone employs 12 Lakh.
Cope harder!!
One in four iPhones is made in India, but imported parts and costly subsidies complicate the success story. @andymukherjee70 takes apart an iPhone to explain why copying China's manufacturing model may not pay off 🎥

Taj Mahal is an Indo-Persian architecture built by Indian wealth and labour, just like how Haghia Sophia is Greek.
The fact that something similar like Taj Mahal doesn't exist in Central Asia, Turkey or Arab world tells a lot.
Infact, the so‑called "Golden Age of Islam" is largely plagiarism of knowledge of earlier Hindu, Greek, and Persian civilizations.
The literal translation of Al Khwarizmi’s renowned work is “Kitab al Hisab al Hind or "The Book of Mathematics of the Hindus"

Shameless and hypocritical #FarooqAbdullah must answer one simple question, Who is responsible for the funerals, the widows, the orphaned children, and the countless families destroyed by decades of terrorism in #Kashmir?
The people of Kashmir have witnessed bloodshed, lost loved ones, and suffered the devastating consequences of Pakistan-backed terrorism. Kashmiri Pandits were forced to leave their homes, while countless Kashmiri Muslim families also endured killings, fear, and immense suffering. These are not political talking points, they are painful chapters of our history.
Portraying #Pakistan as Kashmir’s protector is disgraceful. A country that sponsors terrorism can never be Kashmir’s saviour.
We, the people of Kashmir, are capable of representing ourselves. We are proud Kashmiris and proud Indians, contributing to our nation's progress. We have every right to question our government, demand justice, and hold our leaders accountable. But we do not need the terrorist state of Pakistan to speak for us.
Kashmir’s bloodshed must never become a political instrument. Our people deserve peace, dignity, development, and a future free from terrorism, not narratives that disregard the suffering of generations.
Kashmir belongs to its people. Our voice is our own, our future is our own, and no country that sponsors terrorism can claim to be our protector.

#WATCH | Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir: National Conference Chief Farooq Abdullah says, "...What can you expect from Delhi? You must have the courage to stand up to them and fight. If you do not, you will be wiped out. Your name and identity will disappear, and no one will even remember you. Our neighbour is constantly after them. It goes everywhere, saying that the Kashmir issue has not been resolved. It is protecting us; otherwise, their intentions are not good. They say one thing but do something entirely different. You must have the courage to stand by the truth. Speaking the truth is not easy, but unless you speak the truth and stand firm by it, your future will never be secure..."
