THREAD: Random racing stuff 10/02/1907: First organized automobile race in Vermont since 1903 fatality at St. Johnsbury. Walter Johnson of Essex Junction wins 11-lap race at #VT State Fairgrounds in White River Junction. John Manley of Brattleboro wins 22-lap race the next day.

Two different numbers for NASCAR this week. NASCAR went back to the Nielsen Panel-only numbers this month and received a 2.6 million average. But Prime uses the Panel + "Big Data" measurement (which NASCAR had been using) and reports 3 million -- most-watched Prime race yet.

I'm not a huge Cleetus guy, but half of the drivers in NASCAR did it this way for the first 40 years of the sport, and ARCA has literally been this business model forever
