I find it funny when I bring up Ja Morant being the best Pure Point Guard in the NBA, people always quick to say - “ the closest thing to a Pure PG in the nba is Haliburton”. Ja and Hali does the exact same thing, except Ja creates more advantages than Hali. People just look at Hali as “pure” because he’s unathletic and Ja is Athletic lol. Other than that if you’re really watching Ja Morant play. There is no way you can say he’s not a Pure Point guard. Maybe not a pure point like back in the day, but as far as pass first, creating plays for others, collapsing the defense, living in the paint, getting off the ball— You crazy if you say that’s not Ja or your just not watching.
