Going for a full ladder climb here with JJ getting the start this week for my New York Giants. Malachi saw a big increase in targets once JJ came in the game, and finished last week with 8 targets, 2 catches for 19.
I think this will unfortunately be a trailing script for my Giants, which should lead to a pass heavy game.
Malachi is their WR2, and 3rd on the team in targets this year, and I think this is the highest upside spot we’ve had all season for him with JJ getting the start, as I do think it’s gonna be a major improvement from Winston. Likely and Nabers should draw the toughest matchups vs this Texans defense.
Units will be: 0.2, 0.125, 0.075, 0.05 for each ladder rung.
0-1 day yesterday, only 17 minutes for Brazile, no luck there.
Will likely have some plays dropping in the early afternoon!

This guy has been a sleeper this year, sliding under the radar putting up 4 and 12 in 18 minutes in their opener, and 17-9 last game in 28 minutes in DENs OT comeback.
This isn’t all that surprising though, as in his last 2 preseason games we saw him put up 12 and 8, and 22 and 2 in just 26mpg.
The Nuggets are pretty big favorites here, could see some extra run if it becomes a blowout, but I think he’s earned a good 25ish minutes regardless.

No dice today, foul trouble in the 2H, and contrary to what I thought, they are completely selling out to prevent the Luka/AR lob

Love this spot for Kessler, who has had a dominating start to the season, putting up 22 and 26 points on 85% shooting, with nearly all of his shots being dunks or put backs. He also has gotten to the line 9 times in 2 games.
The reason why I think this line is still underpriced is due to the fact that teams can’t really just sell out and stop Kessler, especially when Luka and Reaves are on the court, you kind of have to decide who you want to let beat you, and I don’t see teams selling out on Kessler and give Luka easier looks
This is also a revenge game for Kessler facing his former team in Utah, which is always a fun bonus.
I expect Kessler to be a 18-19ppg player this season with how good of a situation he’s in.

This line is honestly insane. The news coming out of NY is that Skat is returning as the starting RB after last weeks “benching”.
Getting a 5 receiving yard line for a starting is a little crazy, on top of the fact that he’s cashed 5+ in 4/4 before last week, and those weeks have been 19, 40, 8, and 12, 4, 3, 1, 2 catches.

Spears: 9 catches, 28 yards
Williams: 5 catches, 21 yards
Taylor: 2 catches, 4 yards
Brown: 3 catches, 2 yards
Cook: 3 catches, 12 yards
We also get the fact that JJ is playing, and new QBs always like to use the check down.
This is definitely a risky play, he’ll probably end with 0 or 30 tbh, but it’s worth a shot to climb the ladder.

Love this spot for Sabonis, coming off of a 10 where the offense run through him.
Sabonis is going to be a clear offensive hub for this team, and we saw a look at this in the post game interview, where he himself said:
“Move the ball. Get me the ball more so I can swing it and get guys open. You know, we took a lot of one-pass shots, pick-and-roll shots without passing the ball, you know, those numbers are really high and I feel like we're best when we kind of mix it up - point guard shoots, point guard hits the corner, point guard hits me, then I can make the read - that's where I'm best at.”
He clearly wants to get everyone involved by playing a Jokic-esque role on the elbow, draw defenders in, then kick it to the open man.
We played this on Friday, and he hit this line in the first half, and we only get a 1 assist bump, need to run this back.
