QUALITY ART ADVICE: Your taste will often develop faster than your technical ability. Learn to recognize that is part of the process, and not a reason to doubt your potential.

Our Italy jersey has four different references to the country, but none of them are fighting for attention. - Blue base. - Roman architecture in the pattern. - Tricolore sleeves. - Gold piping. Perfectly balanced. As all things should be.

Sporting faithful, We had really been looking forward to Sunday. After we fought back to get to the NPFL, our first home game was going to be a Lagos derby, and we were going to do it in front of you. It was the perfect way to come back. Unfortunately, our game against Ikorodu City, originally scheduled for Sunday, September 6th, has been rescheduled for Wednesday, September 30th. We’ll share the full matchday details once confirmed. If you have already bought a ticket for Sunday, it will remain valid for our next weekend home game. We will be in touch directly. We know this is disappointing. Many of you had planned to come with friends, spend the afternoon together and welcome the team home. We were looking forward to that too. 𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐧𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐨 𝐚𝐭 𝐎𝐧𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐧. 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐋𝐚𝐠𝐨𝐬 𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐲. On Sunday, September 13th, we play Inter Lagos. We may be the away team, but it will now be the first time in a decade that two Lagos clubs meet in the top flight. Please, come. We would love to see you. Home or away does not change what this game means. It is still Sunday. It is still Onikan. It is still a Lagos derby. Let’s make it special. You, our community, bring our games to life. This is how the Nigerian football league we all believe in will grow, through all of us who keep believing in it. Thank you for staying with us. The best part is still ahead. See you on Sunday 💙

A Korean university student who loves Football Manager has become the owner of a club in Malawi! He travelled to Malawi because he wanted to visit obscure football clubs and ended up at Chizumulu United, a tiny club based on an island of around 4,000 people. After he returned to Korea, the club contacted him because they couldn’t afford the $300 fee needed to enter their competition. He paid it. Then he ended up becoming the OWNER of the club. Since then, he’s documented the journey on YouTube, brought in sponsorship from Korean companies and Puma, and even took Chizumulu’s coaching staff to South Korea to visit professional training sessions. They finished 6th out of 16 in his first season. Now they’re 3rd and fighting for promotion. Someone has actually started an obscure Football Manager save in real life.

Attackers Spain faced at the World Cup: Uruguay: Nunez Belgium: Doku, Trossard, De Ketelaere, Lukaku France: Mbappe, Dembele, Olise, Barcola, Doue Argentina: Alvarez, Messi (120 minutes) If Ronaldo had put in the same performance Messi did in the final, he'd be blamed for holding Portugal back instead of the team as a whole. The difference in standards tells you why he's the GOAT.
🚨FACT: Cristiano Ronaldo had the highest xG against Spain (0.28) out of any player at the 2026 World Cup

Ballon Dor criteria is basically "whatever Messi wants" In 2010, Messi won the Ballon Dor with 0 WC goals coz "World Cup doesnt matter" Fast forward to 2023, Haaland did not win Ballon Dor despite winning a treble & breaking Premier League goals record coz "World Cup matters" So whether you win the World Cup or not, Messi will rob you.

🇪🇸 After the final whistle, Unai Simón was spotted introducing himself to the Argentina squad. It was the first time they'd seen him in 120 minutes.

With Argentina, people only remember the headline robberies… Messi’s handball against the Netherlands, the Salah penalty, Embolo’s red card. But the real damage is in the smaller decisions they get every five minutes. A soft foul here, a missed booking there, another attack killed. It slowly frustrates and psychologically drains the opposition. It doesn’t feel random. It feels perfectly orchestrated.

When Cape Verde started taking control, every major decision suddenly went Argentina’s way. When Egypt looked ready to go three goals clear, the referee found a reason to wipe one off. When Switzerland threatened to complete the turnaround, a Swiss player was conveniently sent off. You can look away all you want, but the pattern is becoming impossible to ignore. The favouritism is glaring, and the stench of corruption is everywhere.

This might be the last time I will comment on this Argentina robbery that has been happening since 2022 (at least until the next robbery). When something happens once, it is a mistake; twice, a coincidence; but the third time, it is a pattern. We cannot, in good faith, continue to deny what we are seeing before our eyes. If Messi didn't play for Argentina, the sentiment would have been universal, but hero worship has obscured a lot of people's sense of judgment. The good thing, though, is that time clears everything up. The heist yesterday, despite being less severe compared to the ones that have occurred over the years, served as a reckoning for a lot of people who initially found the proposition of a rigged tournament preposterous. For me, it begs a question beyond football: if even within the corridors of leisure and entertainment malfeasance of such heights can be executed, what happens in domains with actual economic impact? If you are still in denial, just know this: everybody did not suddenly go crazy.

Seeing how everyone is twisting this around like they suddenly lack basic comprehension, at this point it’s obvious it’s just hatred for Cristiano Ronaldo. Nothing he said here is disrespectful to the World Cup or to anyone who has won it. He’s simply saying that, for him personally, winning Euro 2016 means as much as winning a World Cup because of what it represented. Portugal had never won a major international trophy before. He carried the weight of a nation for years, and that triumph changed the history of Portuguese football forever. He’s talking about the emotional value of that achievement, not claiming the Euros are a bigger or more prestigious tournament than the World Cup. But because it’s Ronaldo, people deliberately strip away the context just to create outrage. If any other footballer had said the exact same thing, everyone would call it passion and sentiment. Ronaldo says it, and suddenly people pretend they can’t understand plain English. At some point, just admit you don’t like the man instead of forcing fake narratives every time he opens his mouth.
🚨🏆 Cristiano Ronaldo: “I’ve won Euro 2016 and for me it has same dimension as the World Cup”. “That remains forever. Tomorrow is a new day, and we go”.
