Where K9s are concerned, take away dogs that bite and you lose a deescalation FROM deadly force tool. This will create problems, not solve anything. Statistics prove K9 bites PREVENT officer involved shootings. @USSupremeCourt has already ruled that K9 bites are NOT deadly force.

Recognize this handsome boy? It’s retired @SpokaneSheriff K9 Deacon, forever our profile pic because his was the first @k9storminc vest we raised money for. Deacon retired at age 5 due to physical health. He’s 8 now and as goofy and gorgeous as ever!
