When someone around us is hurting, how we respond matters. Shame keeps people silent. Support helps people heal.
If you or someone you care about in Kaduna is navigating trauma or struggling with drug or substance use, support is here.

Some of the biggest barriers to mental health care aren’t always the lack of services they’re the beliefs we hold about mental health and substance use.
In Kaduna State, the future of our youth is too important to be compromised by drug abuse or political violence.
As we approach the 2027 election cycle, our message is clear: our young people deserve hope, opportunity and a future not drugs or exploitation.
KADSAMHSA partnered with the Tinubu-Uba Sani Mobilization Network to flag off a sensitization programme themed:
“Break the Chain of Drug Abuse: Choose Hope, Choose Life.”
Through the Tinubu-Uba Cares initiative,we are engaging young people on the consequences of substance abuse
Mental health care should be available where people access healthcare every day.
That is why Kaduna State is strengthening mental health services across its 23 Primary Healthcare Centres of Excellence through ongoing mhGAP training.
@ubasanius @KD_SPHCDA @WHONigeria @kadchma
The goal is simple: strengthen the people and systems already providing care in our communities, so mental health support is not only available when someone reaches crisis point.
Early identification can change the course of care.
