Who's enjoying this warm October day!? Back into the mid and upper 70s in central Iowa, with 80s making another appearance in southwest Iowa! A cold front is on the way, so enjoy the warmth while we have it.

Totally different seasons depending on what side of the state you are on today! Feeling almost like summer in southern Iowa right now, while it is solidly fall in NW Iowa where temperatures are in the 40s!

Another beautiful fall day across central Iowa! Great color with this morning's sunrise, and plenty of sun through the afternoon. Temperatures warm 10 to 15 degrees above average bring 70s back to central and southern portions of the state!

Stalled out cold front sitting right through the middle of the state bringing some very different weather from north to south today. Low 50s in NW Iowa, while we have some 80s just to the southeast of Des Moines!

Gradually seeing more clouds this evening but still really pleasant with temperatures holding in the 70s as we approach sunset. Cooling into the 60s by 8pm, but that is still very mild for the second half of October!
