🤧It seems like everyone knows someone who is sick these days.😷 While many people can manage their cold and flu symptoms at home, others, especially those with underlying conditions, should seek medical attention for severe symptoms. If you have mild to moderate cold or flu symptoms: 🛏️ Get rest. 💧 Drink plenty of fluids. 💊 Take over-the-counter medicines such as acetaminophen (Tylenol). 🚫 Please try to stay away from others to avoid spreading the illness. Go to the nearest emergency department if your symptoms become severe: 🌡️ High fever (over 102°F) that doesn’t respond to medication. 🫁 Serious shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, especially with a bluish tinge to the lips or nails. 💥 Severe chest or stomach pain. 😵‍💫 Sudden dizziness or frequent dizzy spells. 😕 Confusion. 🤢 Severe or persistent vomiting. 🚽 Not peeing or peeing very little. 🔄 Flu-like symptoms that appear to get better, but then return. If you are looking for non-emergency health care, please visit Rightplacerightcare.ca.
