Hey Twitter you nasty breeding ground of hate AKA the everything app, I talked to Keith Morris of @CircleJerksBand & the original singer of a little band called BLACK FLAG and it’s 5 hours long. Part 1 is out now all about Black Flag. Watch it or not that’s up to you. Free will is amazing. You’ll be cooler if you do though.

I’m about to have a Nervous Breakdown... Tomorrow on HardLore, the legendary KEITH MORRIS! In the first half of this 4-hour, two-part special, we talk all things Black Flag and Nervous Breakdown (which @CircleJerksBand just re-recorded) with one of hardcore music’s very first frontmen. We’re joined by special guest co-host Anthony Anzaldo of @ceremony for this landmark conversation.

Introducing PLAN X RECORDS, a new home for straight edge hardcore music. PX001 releases tonight at Midnight, on Edge Day, from a brand new band called ALIVE. I have been straight edge since I was 14 years old, and I’ve never thought twice, looked back, OR thought myself above or better than anyone. But what I do know is that in a world that teaches us to numb ourselves, straight edge taught me how to feel. In a culture that profits from our continuous destruction, it can be the ultimate weapon… Against apathy, against excess, and most importantly, against the slow surrender of the self. I have never understood the notion that we must poison our minds to escape our reality, we need only the strength to change it. There’s always a better way. Initiate Plan X. One of the greatest breakdowns ever written… STRIFE - Blistered.

There is only one truth… Tomorrow on HardLore, we celebrate one of the best California hardcore bands of all time: STRIFE. Guitarist and co-founder Andrew Kline joins us to deep dive into the entire history of the torch bearing, genre-defining band that toured the world flying the flag for straight edge hardcore in the 90s.
