This heat is unbearable. The people of Timboroa,Nyandarua and Limuru must be wondering what on earth is happening. They are used to single digit temps at night.

The Southern bypass used to have the best street lights in Nairobi. They were taken down and replaced with the dim LED lights that are often off. Dear @KeNHAKenya please just return that calibre of lights. Consider this part of public participation as you budget for 2027/28.

Ona huyu! πŸ˜‚ Just like clockwork. We knew an article like this would magically appear today. Lo and behold, right on schedule. Some things are just wonderfully predictable. πŸ˜‚
World Athletics have set new standards for sports governance under Seb Coe. But I fundamentally disagree with the decision by the WA Council to hand the 2029 World Championships to Nairobi ahead of London. My piece here: thetimes.com/article/da14d0e…

A one-shilling coin from 1966. πŸ‡°πŸ‡ͺ This marked the start of Kenya's own currency, replacing the East African Shilling. If you have any coins or banknotes from 1966 tucked away somewhere, keep them well. They are rare historical gems!!!

I found this 1955 Nairobi mapπŸ—Ί of its growing suburbs. I decided to georeference it to today to show how fast Nairobi has grown↗️. Some may say the small county is almost fully developed hence Kiambu , Machakos and Kajiado Metropolitan growth.

Nairobi needs some rain urgently. The smog in the sky needs some good 3 or 4 rain days.
