I want to try an “unofficial” experiment. Please retweet this if your kids have been vaccinated and have NOT been “vaccine injured.”
Thanks.

"Why are medical tests so inaccurate?"
Let's use an analogy. You've had/seen a motion-activated security light before? Its job is to detect intruders by virtue of interrupting an infrared light beam.
Have you ever seen a branch, a cat, a pile of wind-blown leaves activate it?

Very interesting new preprint by Eran Bendavid and colleagues reports seroprevalence estimates from Santa Clara county. Great to have seroprevalence work start to emerge, but I'd be skeptical of the 2-4% seroprevalence result. 1/8 medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/…

Let’s talk about the fact that both the attack rate and the death rate among the young is indeed very low with COVID19, unlike most prior pandemics. And let’s speculate about some of the biological reasons. 1/

Tonight #DeborahBirx stated that models anticipating large-scale transmission of COVID-19 do not match reality on the ground. Our modeling (done by @StephenKissler based on work with @ctedijanto and @yhgrad and me) is one of the models she is talking about.

Excellent news to pass along about K-State journalism professor Andrew Smith, who tested positive for coronavirus last week.
He has been discharged from the hospital and is hoping to be back at full strength in a few months. In the meantime he plans on teaching classes remotely.
