Congratulations to the @EFFSouthAfrica , @Julius_S_Malema , its members and supporters for remaining steadfast in their opposition to the scapegoating of foreign nationals for South Africa’s problems. At a time when anti-immigrant sentiment was being exploited as voter currency, they refused to sacrifice principle for political expediency. Their willingness to stand by this position, even at an electoral cost, deserves acknowledgement and respect.
We’ve normalized appeasement so deeply that basic honesty registers as an insult. When people crave performative politeness, directness feels like an attack and clarity sounds like hostility. Directness isn’t cruelty. @Julius_S_Malema must never apologise for speaking plainly.
Claiming MKP or EFF will cause “malfunction and corruption” while ignoring reality under the GNU is willful blindness.
Under the GNU, corruption has simply put on a suit—a bloated cabinet, tender networks thriving, zero accountability, and persistent decay.
Reducing this to Julius Malema misses the entire point. Whenever radical economic transformation and structural change threaten entrenched power, the system targets the individual to distract from the collective struggle.
It’s not about one man; it’s about power defending itself.

I genuinely believe that losing Ndlozi did serious damage to the EFF. When Julius formed his party, he still had that ANC stench on him so bringing someone like Mbuyiseni did wonders for the EFF. He’s young, intelligent and charismatic and many young people resonated with him. Young people who felt like they weren’t being represented politically found a new home. He also seemed like the guy who would likely receive the baton from the CIC.
